We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, secluded hotel in Monteverde. The value for money was excellent, and our cottage was simply gorgeous with its large windows connecting us to nature. The location was peaceful, surrounded by green fields and jungle, and the staff, particularly Natalia, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even booked a guide for us to visit the Monteverde reserve. The breakfast provided in our fridge was convenient and delicious, and our daughter loved feeding the cows and playing with the cats. The trails around the finca were a bonus and added to our enjoyment. This is definitely the best place to stay when visiting the area.

The location of this hotel is great, away from the tourist center but still close to all attractions. the spacious room and cozy kitchen provide everything needed for a tasty breakfast, including farm-fresh ingredients like eggs, milk, and bread. the tour around the farm is an interesting experience, with the opportunity to feed adorable baby calves. the beautiful trails around the property are perfect for hiking and exploring nature.
It can get a bit hot in the morning as the windows face the sunny side.

We had a great time staying in the lodge at the farm. The cabin was fantastic, with a rustic but modern design. The hosts are wonderful and caring, and the staff is friendly. The farm itself has beautiful trails and activities for all ages. The location is close to Santa Elena town and attractions like 100% Aventura and Santa Elena National Park. The superior chalet felt like a treehouse cabin and was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast served from their own hens and cows was delicious. Thais, the host, was phenomenal in making us feel comfortable and providing helpful tips.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Finca Terra Viva in Monteverde for a few nights. The property is stunning, surrounded by rainforest and offering a peaceful and rural atmosphere. The cabin I stayed in was beautiful, with two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a living room with an extra bed, and a kitchenette. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring that the fridge was stocked with a variety of breakfast items. The location was perfect for day excursions to the surrounding area and the opportunity to see wildlife from the front porch was a big highlight. I also enjoyed chatting with the host, Gaudy, and the milk from her cows was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again!
I recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful property. The cabin we stayed in had breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The property manager was extremely helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We were able to book all our desired activities, including visits to national parks and a night hike. we loved the fact that we could feed the baby cows on the property, which was a unique and memorable experience.
That the cabins were not well insulated, so we could feel the wind coming inside during stormy nights. It would have been nice to have some kind of heating device as well, as the mornings and evenings got quite cold.

The cottage I stayed in was surrounded by lush green nature, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I loved the big windows that allowed me to enjoy the beautiful views and wildlife. It was a treat to wake up to hummingbirds and coatimundis right outside my cottage. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
One downside of my stay was the chilly temperature at night. It dropped to around 10-15°C, which made it quite uncomfortable, especially without proper heating in the cottage.
